Machinery and innovative materials meant that as the years went by there was even more choice when it came to designs and price, and in 1928 a particular chair hit the market - and hasn&rsquo;t really gone away&hellip; Called the Grand Confort and designed by Charlotte Perriand, this was the first type of corbusier produced.</p>
